The location is beautiful, the owners are very friendly, and the holiday apartment is fantastic for the price. We’ve already booked again for next year.

The breakfast was wonderfully varied and lovingly laid out, with their own honey and a tiered tray full of freshly prepared treats. They also accommodated our request for vegetarian meals perfectly. The lower apartment was spotlessly clean, furnished to a high standard, and even had a sauna. We found the price very fair, and being able to stay overnight was a real help, since that isn't always possible along this route. We didn't have enough cash because there were no ATMs along the way, but paying via PayPal was easy. My sister and I came across the place while hiking the Nibelungen Trail, and it felt like a dream. It's in a picturesque village overlooking the Odenwald forest, peaceful and far from the bustle of the Main Valley. We got such a warm welcome. The breakfast was better than what you'd find in many four-star hotels. Many thanks, and a huge compliment!

The hosts were friendly, and breakfast in the morning was delicious, with fresh rolls. We stayed in a room with a sauna, which was a real treat after several days of hiking. There's also a living room with a small kitchen and a bedroom. It was very comfortable and just right for relaxing after a day on the trail.

The homemade honey from the apiary on site is worth trying. You can taste it there, and I bought two jars. I spent three days in the "Unne" holiday apartment, hoping for a few restful days, and the forest, open fields, and beautiful surroundings were exactly what I needed. Inside, the apartment felt cozy and had lovely attention to detail. The kitchen-living room was fully equipped and bigger than it looked in the pictures. My favorite part was the sauna, attached to the spacious bathroom and even fitted with a lounger. Mrs. Blumenschein was friendly and attentive, and I had the peace and quiet I needed to relax. I'd gladly come back.
