I’ve stayed at other hotels in central Lahr, and in this price range this one seems by far the best kept, even if it may not be the quietest. The rooms are somewhat dated but spacious, clean, and very well maintained. Ours had a portable AC unit. We didn’t mind the road noise, but sleeping with the window open would be impossible. If you normally sleep with the window open, ask for a room facing away from the main street. In my opinion, it’s probably the best option.

There’s a fantastic breakfast selection, from continental and hot options to waffles. The staff were so helpful, and the room was spacious with a super-comfy bed. The free WiFi was strong both in the room and throughout the hotel, which made it ideal for working during a business trip. Highly recommended.

We’ll go back. It’s a lovely hotel with an excellent breakfast, and the staff were excellent too.

The room and breakfast were both very good, and the service was especially friendly. I’d happily stay here again.
