6/10
The stay was nice and comfortable, with plenty of free parking in front and behind the hotel. Some rooms have windows facing the restaurant, but shutting them keeps the noise out. Everything else was great, except the hand towels in the shower, which looked like old, worn rugs. Replacing them can't cost that much. I would gladly have given 4 or even 5 stars if the towels had been better.

The rooms were clean, fresh, and comfortable, and the hotel is good for business trips or a quiet rest. Breakfast isn't included, but it doesn't cost that much.

The hotel is convenient for the train station, and I like the room and the restaurant downstairs with its nice patio. Coordination seems lacking, though, and the restaurant service depends on who's attending you. Some of the staff are quite rude.

Apart from the grumpy Frau, things were okay. At breakfast, she, who I guess was the owner, interrupted me rudely while I was eating an omelet and demanded "room number" in an aggressive tone. I answered, "good morning." I've seen better manners at a chimpanzees tea party.

The rooms are pretty good, and the staff are very helpful and cooperative. It's close to the railway station and easy to get to. A very nice hotel overall.
