The room setup worked well for us, and everything was in very good shape and clearly well cared for. The house has a big living room and kitchen, plus a toilet and sink, but there's only one shower. With 11 of us, that was the reason I couldn't give it five stars. An extra bathroom would help. The bedrooms are on the second floor, while the bathrooms are on the first, and you reach the house by climbing a staircase. The owner was very attentive, though quite serious. There's a trampoline and a washing machine, both shared with the neighboring house. We arrived to find basics like salt, oil, coffee, and dish soap already provided. The setting is another plus. It's near some lovely Black Forest villages, and there's a pleasant wooded path in the village that's good for children.

The apartment had a lot of stuff in it and didn't look like the pictures. The area was very, very bad.

It feels awful to be treated by your landlord as if you might be a criminal.

Aside from the internet being a little slow, everything was top-notch. That's the one star I took off.
