The hotel is clean and comfortable, and everything about it is wonderful. The staff are lovely and very pleasant. Five stars.

We ate here twice. The menu is pretty limited, with hardly any vegetarian options and no fish, but the food is tasty and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast was well organized, with someone asking us what we'd like to drink, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed our two nights at 'Haus Rameil' in Saalhausen, and €70 a night felt fair. Still, there was no fridge or place to cook in the room, and it was cleaned between our nights without anyone asking, even though our money, laptop, and valuables were inside. Wi-Fi didn't come on after we asked twice, but when I spoke to the housekeeper later, she got it working within a minute.

Family-run by really nice people, with great rooms and amazing food. The mushroom schnitzel is the best. For me, it's the best hotel in Sauerland.
