The owner is a nice man, which was the only positive for me. This isn’t really a hotel, guesthouse would be the right name. Our room was cold, and there was no kettle in it. To reach the kettle, you had to cross a very cold hallway to the ground floor, and there wasn’t any tea or coffee available. We booked the place to rest during a long journey, but the street was so noisy we barely slept. There’s no reception either.

The room was simple but practical, and the welcome was friendly. It did the job for one night. Breakfast cost an extra €12.50 and included a whole pot of good coffee, an egg, cold cuts of sausage and cheese, two kinds of jam, hazelnut spread, honey, and three rolls from the bakery next door.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the owner was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. He also cooked us a delicious meal.
