We waited an HOUR with no reception, trying to get the guy to answer the phone and give us the key-box code. The hotel didn’t seem interested in its clients at all. The internet didn’t work either, and there was awful road noise. There’s a children’s playground nearby, and the hotel’s acoustic walls mean you can hear every murmur. The room was small, with a small, uncomfortable bed. Another guest using a wheelchair had to climb the stairs because the entrance ramp was closed. Of course, the hotel phone was silent.

The day before we were due to arrive, the hotel emailed to say they had no room for us because of "computer problems". We’d booked online and received confirmation, so we could easily have ended up stranded in Luckenwalde without anywhere to stay. They keep your money if you cancel less than 30 days ahead, yet cancelling on guests the night before arrival seems fine to them. I’m not impressed.

The staff were very professional, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. Parking was really good too, and it’s within walking distance of the city center. Great value for the room.

I was here for work, so I can’t comment on the price. The room was big and comfortable, and breakfast was nice.
