We only stayed one night, but the room was amazing, clean and well organized. The location is central to everything. Front desk staff were kind and let us leave our luggage while we explored before leaving town, even after checkout. I’d highly recommend the place and will come back if I’m in town again.

A beautiful old building with friendly reception staff. Our spacious room had a large bathroom and a nice bath. It’s an easy walk from the station and a great spot for exploring the old town on foot. We stayed a couple of nights.

The suite was charming and much nicer than the photos suggested. I booked it easily at the last minute during a road trip earlier this month, in September 2022. I hadn’t realized the front desk closed at 19:00, and I was still a few cities away, so I wouldn’t make it in time. The staff called when I hadn’t arrived by closing and arranged for me to collect the key after hours. They saved the day, since I had nowhere else to stay that night. We had breakfast at the hotel the next morning, and it was delicious, a nice extra. I feel lucky I picked Klassik Altstadt Hotel Lübeck and would recommend it to anyone.

The location was amazing, close to everything, and the rooms were pretty. The bathroom even had cotton pads and a few things for women. Pillows and covers were fluffy and lovely, breakfast was good, and the staff were very kind. But the bed was so hard my body felt broken after one night, and the room was extremely warm with no AC. A little fan didn’t make much difference. I wouldn’t go back with beds that hard, but if they ever put in softer ones, I’d be back in a second!

A simple hotel that’s a great fit for a short city trip because of its location. The rooms are small but very clean, and the bathrooms are modern. I can definitely recommend it.
