The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and phenomenal food were a real highlight during my work trip. I stayed here for a total of 11 weeks over the last few months, and this place was easily the best. The staff were so friendly, spoke English, cleaned the rooms very well, and were attentive whenever I needed anything. Thanks so much, you made the trip a pleasure!

The breakfast was the biggest letdown. At €14.50 per person, I found it unacceptable: discount-store sausage and cheese, and Gut&Günstig jam served from a jar with a spoon, with dried jam stuck all around the sides. On our first morning, almost nothing had been replenished. We also had a small room that wasn't especially clean, though the hotel is centrally located. We won't book again.

The one thing I had trouble with was the little parking garage, which could be difficult with a larger car or if you're not used to parking in tight spaces. Otherwise, a great hotel, with exceptionally friendly staff. Breakfast had very few vegan choices, but they specially got oat milk and three vegan spreads for me. My bay window room was roomy, and the nearby city center has lots of shops. Daily cleaning is recommended, though that seems to be standard practice in more and more places. See you next time!

The coffee and fresh rolls at breakfast were especially good, and there was plenty to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too. Meiningen is a beautiful city that's definitely worth visiting, and the hotel fits right in with it.
