That mountain view from the apartment was beautiful, and the place was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 5 days and rated cleanliness and comfort 5, with the location around 4-5. If hiking or walking trails is your thing, this is a great base, with lots of routes nearby. The apartment is near downtown Mittenwald, about 10 minutes on foot from the train station and 3-4 minutes from the large Rewe grocery store. It’s less suited to a trip focused on cafes and simply relaxing. There’s a local brewery with restaurants just a 2-minute walk away, though it was closed during our visit because it was Spring festival season. Clean rooms, spectacular nature views, and maybe a beer next time. We highly recommend it for a vacation!

Alexandra, the owner, was always kind and happy to help or make suggestions. We felt at home thanks to the warm, comfortable facilities at St. Korbinian, and loved our stay in magical Mittenwald. We hope to come back someday and enjoy German hospitality here again!

The hiking trails around Mittenwald were wonderful, and there’s information about them in the apartment. The service was great too: Mrs. Wurmer kindly drove me to the train station when I left. Thank you again! I stayed in the small attic apartment, which was well equipped, quiet, and just a 10-minute walk from Mittenwald Old Town. Everything was perfect, and I’ll definitely be back 😊
