We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is stylish and has what you need for a short or long visit. Our little one had a lovely room set up with thoughtful extras, and there was complimentary cake waiting when we arrived. Thanks so much.

The view isn't as scenic as it appears. Don't count on getting help from the owners.

We rented the apartment for a weekend and had no trouble checking in, since the keys were in a coded lockbox. It was very spacious and had what you'd need for cooking or doing laundry. The terrace and barbecue were a particular highlight, and the owner was very friendly.

We’ve already booked Oma's Stubchen for next year, after this being our second visit. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and the soapstone stove is wonderful, lit for us when we arrived. The place has a traditional German feel but is still fully equipped. It’s a great starting point for hiking or cycling, with the fens on one side and picturesque Monschau and the lovely countryside around it on the other. We had a wonderful holiday.

There was plenty of everything for everyday living and cooking in the spacious duplex, from kitchen utensils and towels to toilet paper and soap dispensers in each bathroom. Mr. Schmitz was always friendly and extremely personable, and readily answered our questions. We felt very comfortable and would love to return. 🥰
