ROMANTIK-RESIDENZ MONSCHAU Apartments

The apartment is in a great location, and arrival was hassle-free, with parking right outside to unload and a key box. It seemed nice at first, but then we noticed quite a few issues. There were crumbs on the charger plates from the previous guests, cobwebs around the ceiling light, and water left in the Nespresso machine. The toaster in the cupboard was covered in dust and crumbs, and the dish sponge looked about a year old. There was no microwave or oven. Toilet paper and a new sponge only arrived after we asked. We brought our own towels, and luckily our own dish towels too, since nobody had mentioned those were provided. All in all, it's a nice apartment in a prime spot, but cleanliness and service fell short.

It looked bright and welcoming inside, with tasteful furnishings and a nicely renovated old building. The single-glazed windows weren't a problem in May. Practical storage is more limited: just three wall hooks for coats, no shelves in the wardrobe, and nowhere to put your things. We also wished there were blankets for the sofa.

Very bright, clean, and pleasant, with lots of lovely details. The apartment has everything you need. It's right in the center of everything, but still very quiet. We'd happily stay again.

The apartment was great, though a few little things could be improved. The location and service were perfect, and we were very satisfied with our relaxing stay.
