Central Hotel Münster

I only stayed one night, so I didn’t get to try the food, though it looked delicious and the atmosphere felt quaint and a bit elevated. The Central Hotel Münster was clean, the staff were super friendly, and I loved the location. The pillows were so comfortable that I want to find out the brand and get some for home. I’d visit again.

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the hotel is very well managed. It’s right in the city center, within walking distance of Muenster’s highlights, with a great coffee shop on the ground floor. The rooms are spacious, though fairly dark and not luxurious. Services beyond the coffee shop are limited, so it suits business or student travelers and quick overnight stays.

We’ll definitely come back. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve had in years, and the kind owner runs a wonderful place. It’s newly renovated, with amazing rooms featuring a rain shower head, bidet toilet, heated towel rack, and TV in both the bedroom and living room. There’s also a dining table and mini fridge, which was handy for food we brought back from the Saturday market for the week. The lovely cafe downstairs serves great coffee.

The location makes it easy to walk to the town’s major tourist spots, and for the money this hotel is great value. It’s small, personal, and well run. I loved the thoughtful touches in the nicely designed rooms, from the lovely soap and shower gels to the powerful hair dryer, plenty of towels and pillows, good lighting, aircon, and plugs by the bed for charging a phone. The shower is state of the art, and the bed was by far the best hotel bed I’ve slept in in Germany. They also offer a reasonably priced breakfast.
