We had a clean, furnished triple room with three single beds, a reasonable amount of space, heating in both the room and shower, and a clean, if somewhat dated, shower. There was no coffee maker. The lift is small, about enough for two people and two suitcases, and it stops working after reception closes. Reception hours are 07:00 to 22:30, and once it closes, the main entrance is locked. You'll need the side-door key provided with the room keys. The hotel has five floors, so if your room is high up, you'll have to use the stairs after hours. Munich Central Station is 400 metres away, about a 15-minute walk. The Munich Theater is next door, and the Old Town is roughly 25 minutes on foot. Nearby there are kiosks and a Lidl supermarket open until 21:00. We felt fairly safe in the area, despite the presence of immigrants. The price is relatively low compared with similar nearby hotels, and I think it offers reasonable value. I recommend it. Thanks, and have a lovely day! Reuven

The location made getting around easy, right in the centre of Munich and a short walk from the central train station. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was spotless, nicely designed, and comfortable after a day exploring. Free coffee, tea, and light snacks were a thoughtful extra. I absolutely loved my stay!

No air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable when it gets very hot. Aside from that, I found the place beautiful and comfortable, with a great location close to everything and good connections around the city. The free coffee was delicious too. A highly recommended stay.

The bathroom floor could have been cleaned better, though it wasn't a major issue. The rooms aren't especially pretty, but for €60 a night they were great and had what I needed. Friendly staff, and a perfect spot near Sendlinger Tor and the train station.

I badly hurt my back and left shoulder getting a very heavy suitcase down three flights of stairs. I have a bad back, and I was stuck handling it myself because the lift was shut down. I had booked a room on the 3rd floor, not knowing the lift would be out of service, or that reception wouldn't open promptly at 7 a.m. If I'd known, I wouldn't have chosen that floor. There wasn't a notice by the elevator explaining its hours. I called the number on the hotel's outside door. A woman called me shortly before 7 and asked me to wait five minutes for her colleague. At 7:05 German time I called again, and was told once more to wait another five minutes. I had an important appointment at 7:30, and couldn't keep waiting. I needed to get myself and my suitcase downstairs safely, so I carried it down. The lift is apparently only operating again from 10 p.m. until about 7 a.m., when staff are punctual. No service, no understanding. I won't be coming back, and I'll tell everyone planning to travel to Munich.
