Hotel Andra

The room’s carpet was stained and filthy, the shower door was broken and let water out, and we could hear people in the street all night. Getting into the hotel also felt uncomfortable, through a side entrance in a sketchy alley or hall, and the street itself seemed seedy. There were a couple of positives: the linens were clean and changed once during our stay, and the location is handy, less than a mile from the city square and easy to reach on foot. This is a friendly but fair warning. If the low price appeals, expect what you pay for. It may suit you if you’re flexible and don’t mind a second-class experience.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that I struggled to sleep, and the hotel looked nothing like its online photos. Those pictures are very misleading. The room was dusty and dirty, with spider webs, and the bathroom was in poor shape. The shower was broken and barely usable. Even the entrance made a bad first impression, with dust, rubbish, and overgrown plants everywhere. Honestly, this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. It feels neglected, unhygienic, and not worth the money at all. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Everything was clean, and I had no issues. The hotel is about eight minutes from the central station, and it has a good breakfast buffet.

Central, clean, and comfortable, with lots of great restaurants nearby. The customer service was great too, and I’d stay here again.
