The shower was amazing, and the room itself was very nice. The location is superb: the U-Bahn is right by the entrance and you can even walk to the city center. The receptionists were welcoming too. Noise does get into the room from the hotel, and on the first three floors you can sometimes hear trains. The WLAN was pretty bad, very slow and sometimes wouldn't connect, so you really can't work or watch entertainment in the room.

For the price, the accommodation and location were great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a little basic, and the service was brilliant. Georgie deserves a shout-out for going above and beyond to help us find an emergency overnight pharmacy.

The rooms are on the small side, but the beds are good, the bathrooms are clean, and the big windows, many with balconies, look out over the city. It’s easy to get around from here: Goetheplatz U-Bahn station is right outside, Marienplatz is two stops away, and the Oktoberfest grounds are walkable. The lobby bar and breakfast space have a relaxed urban feel, and the staff are welcoming. A handy, modern place to stay without paying Old Town hotel prices.
