Hotel Fidelio

I was there for a week last November 2025. The room was spacious enough and pretty quiet, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to guest requests. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to the mall and five minutes to the nearest tram stop. There are lots of restaurants along the main street, and the main tourist attractions are two to three tram stops away.

We booked a room for four during Oktoberfest and stayed one night as a group of friends. The staff were understanding and kind to tourists. It’s a quiet place, so consider it for a peaceful holiday. There’s a good underground parking area.

Good value for the room size and the very good breakfast, which costs only £12 per person. There are stairs before you get to our room, but the staff are always helpful.

For a short visit, Hotel Fidelio was a decent option. It’s close to the main train station, breakfast was delicious at a reasonable price, the staff were nice, and check-in and checkout were both very fast. Getting our luggage to the lift was tiring because there are stairs inside the hotel. I only found out after checking out that a side entrance avoids them. It would have helped to know about that earlier. I also found an unexpected bathroom guest, a spider. Management should take pest control seriously, and the bathroom itself needed to be cleaner. Fair prices and friendly staff, but cleanliness and communication about the facilities need work.
