Paleo Finest Serviced Apartments

The apartment itself was nice, but the price communication was a real problem. We’d first been told to pay 200 euros by card and the other 265 euros in person. When we arrived early, we were told the 200 euros was a deposit and that we still had to pay another 465 euros. That unexpected extra 200 euros was a pain.

I was there with an Arab friend, and the staff seemed Islamophobic too. When I asked a simple question, they yelled at me. Some of the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered.

The balcony faces a quiet courtyard, and the neighborhood felt peaceful. Munich city center is around 15-20 minutes away, with a bakery, butcher, supermarket, and beer garden nearby. We loved staying in this beautiful, cozy apartment with its Scandinavian-style interior. The kitchen was well equipped, with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine. They’d left coffee capsules, tea bags, milk, and vegetable oil. We couldn’t figure out the washing machine, though, since there were no instructions in the room.

Ursula Foon, the landlady, was friendly and helpful, and always had good suggestions for things to do. Our modern, spacious ground-floor apartment had a kitchen where we could cook and eat comfortably. The location was great too, with parking right outside, an organic supermarket and bakery a few minutes’ walk away, and easy access to both the Isar River and the city center.
