Sleep was impossible: the Indian restaurant/ballroom downstairs hosted parties with music blasting late into the night. The room itself was dusty and cheap, and there was no reception. If you hadn’t paid in advance, there was no way to make a payment. A horrible experience, so I’m giving it 1/4.

We got the basics we wanted: a bed, bathroom, and enough internet to navigate and look things up. The Wi-Fi did cut out a bit, and finding the entrance was confusing since there’s no usual reception desk, just the Indian restaurant. We also realized we’d accidentally booked a single room for two people, so everyone should double-check their reservation.

The quick, smooth check-in and checkout made things easy. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the staff treated us kindly. We really liked the hotel, especially its spot close to the English garden and the river. We’d definitely recommend visiting while staying in Munich.
