There’s plenty for families with kids to explore across the grounds, which feel like a real hidden gem. We loved the lovingly designed garden and the distinctive Finnish houses, and the older hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The place is beautifully furnished. The Booking.com photos really don’t capture how lovely it is.

Best part was waking up to the neighbor’s rooster. The hosts are friendly, the apartment is lovely and spacious, and it feels wonderfully cozy.

There’s nothing close by, so getting anywhere means a long trip. The apartment itself is clean and well equipped, but much too cold. The horse paddock for children includes an ancient pony. And the sauna has been a construction site for some time!
