The Scandic Nürnberg Central

Breakfast was a highlight, with a great range of cheeses, tasty creamy scrambled eggs, and the fun option to squeeze fresh juice and make waffles yourself. We travel a lot, and this was honestly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. The reception team were so friendly and helpful. No request seemed like too much, and Cilla deserves a special thank you for going out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully kept. Everything was beyond what we expected from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it!

Breakfast had lots of Bio/Organic options, and at the bar I had the most delicious hot chocolate, not too sweet. The hotel is close to the city center, though you do have to pay for parking. You need your room key to operate the lift. My room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom and shower. The aircon worked well, and I didn’t hear much noise from the hall or other rooms. One thing to watch: the mirror by the window can reflect morning light, so make sure the curtains cover the sides properly. I didn’t have time to try the facilities, so I can’t comment on them.

The bar was a lovely place to unwind in the evening, and breakfast had plenty of choice, great service, and a nice atmosphere. Our room was spotless and cosy, with a mattress and pillows so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. A huge thank you to Cilla, Mia,Melisa, and Joshua at reception. They greeted us with warm smiles as soon as we arrived and made me feel at ease. Even though the situation came up at the last minute, they handled everything smoothly and professionally. The service was efficient, and they went above and beyond to make sure things were right. They made the whole stay easy and enjoyable. What a treasure of a team. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back for sure!

The staff showed real compassion when I told them I was in Nürnberg for my mother’s funeral. They understood immediately when I asked for a quiet spot at breakfast, and that meant a lot. Augustine at the front desk was especially kind and caring, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. I stayed at the Scandic Hotel twice, for almost two weeks in total, and both visits were excellent. The modern rooms were very clean and completely soundproof. Even in a street-facing room I couldn’t hear traffic. The daily buffet had plenty of fresh choices, and the front desk and breakfast staff were genuinely attentive and kind. The wellness area was another real plus. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the two different saunas were a much-needed treat after long days. WiFi was free throughout the hotel, and logging in was simple, with no need to enter room numbers. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it for its comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality.
