Beautiful.

The downstairs apartment is spacious, including the bathroom, which has a shower, toilet, and bath. It feels a bit dated. The kitchen is large and has plenty of equipment, though the fridge section isn't very big. The large TV and sound system are good. But the back patio is tiny, and there's no privacy: the upstairs neighbors can look into the living room, and people walking past come very close and can see straight inside. Cleaning was disappointing, and nobody responded to my complaint about it. The WiFi was poor too. Such a shame.

We spent six days in the ground-floor apartment with our small dog. It's roomy and has what you need, including a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a large bathroom with shower and tub, and a bedroom with comfortable mattresses. The living room has a sofa, dining table, and big TV with Netflix and more. There's a little patio beside the house that was great for the dog, and the street-facing shutters give full privacy and make it dark enough for a good night's sleep. There's even a piano in the hallway. The couple who handed over the keys were very friendly. The kitchen could have been cleaned better. For parking, Oberwesel train station is a five-minute walk away, and it costs €2 a day.

The area is beautiful, and the ground-floor apartment was spacious, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed for our week with our dog. The kitchen was especially large, with a dishwasher and washing machine. But there were several problems. The little staircase inside wasn't mentioned on the website and had no lighting, even in the dark, so it felt like a tripping hazard. There was no regular TV, only internet services like Zattoo and Joyn, and figuring it out took ages. Amazon was free, but many films during our stay were only in French, while Netflix wouldn't work without registration. Older people could have a hard time with the TV setup. The kitchen cupboards and bathroom tiles needed a deep clean, and the building was very noisy. For four days, the family upstairs had teenagers playing football in their apartment. We told the landlord, and it was quiet for a day, but then the noise started again. We were told to talk to the guests ourselves. Parking right outside isn't possible because the street is too narrow. We were lucky that Rhineland-Palatinate schools were on break, so we could use the school parking lot 50 meters away.
