Getting to the main Schwarzwald NP takes a bit of a trip, but the location is lovely and just far enough off the beaten path. I'd definitely stay here again.

We felt so at ease here. Breakfast was delicious, and having the sauna made it even more relaxing. The service was always friendly and attentive. Pension Breig is beautifully kept, with lots of care in the details, and it's a great base for hiking.

We stayed in the heart of the Black Forest National Park, with plenty of options for hikes, bike rides, or just exploring the towns and nature. The hotel was cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. Monika Paulsch was especially lovely and even arranged a gluten-free breakfast for me.

The value was exceptionally good, and we couldn't have asked for more. Our room had a balcony, and everything from breakfast and the sauna to the drinks, snacks, and parking was excellent. Mrs. Paulsch gave us a really warm welcome in her beautifully kept house. We felt very, very comfortable. Best wishes from Mario & Steffi.
