The castle makes a wonderful sight, especially in autumn as the sun is setting.

I went to see the castle and found it in very good, well-kept condition. I don’t know whether it’s still operating as a hotel.

The staff were very friendly, and even with only a few guests, both the restaurant and dinner were good. Breakfast wasn’t a huge spread, but it had everything you’d need. The hotel was exceptionally quiet, set in a lovely rural spot beside a castle park and pond. Our room came with free Wi-Fi and a complimentary refrigerator. For a castle hotel, I’d recommend it.

The service was very friendly, and both the food and rooms were good. It’s a reasonably priced castle hotel with a distinctive atmosphere.

The food was very good, the staff friendly, and the rooms beautiful. Sadly, the castle is due to close at the end of the year.
