The hosts were incredibly nice, the location is perfect, and the breakfast buffet is the best bargain in town. If you enjoy quaint, cozy old hotels, this place is adorable. Still, by checkout I was longing for a faceless Ritz Carlton or InterContinental. Our room was cramped and so hot that we slept without covers and still sweated. The floor sloped enough to make me feel seasick, and you can imagine how much it creaked. Don’t trust your GPS to get you there by car. No road goes close to the hotel, and GPS won’t tell you where to park or which way to walk. The parking lot is a three-minute walk over cobblestones. The hosts should email a map, and you really need one that shows both the hotel and the parking lot.

The hotel was cute and clean, and the ladies serving breakfast were warm, polite, and really helpful. Service was great. My only suggestion is to put a small bath mat down for stepping out of the shower. 5*
