Kunsthaus

Check-in was friendly, personal, and helpful. The Kunsthaus is an annex of Hotel Theophano, about 300 meters away, while reception and breakfast are at Theophano. Our room in Kunsthaus, No. 303, 'Constanze', had a living area with armchairs, table, TV, wardrobe and refrigerator, plus a sleeping area with another wardrobe and a double bed. The decor isn't stylish all the way through, but it has charm. We loved the little planted terrace outside the room, which was all ours, and felt very comfortable. Breakfast at Theophano was excellent for this hotel category, with lots of fresh, tasty choices, and the young staff were attentive. The central location of Theophano/Kunsthaus in Quedlinburg is another plus. We'll definitely stay again when we next visit this extraordinary half-timbered town.

We felt very comfortable in the beautifully restored half-timbered house, tucked into the heart of Quedlinburg's old town. Our "Mathilde" studio had a living room, a spacious bathroom, and a small balcony looking over the courtyard. It was peaceful enough to relax completely, and all the sights were within walking distance.

The breakfast was generous and delicious, with little touches like fresh currants and decorative details. The lady of the house was consistently warm and attentive. It’s a family-run place, lovingly furnished, where the old style and modern comfort fit together really well. I’d definitely recommend the Kunsthaus to anyone wanting a personal, welcoming stay in Quedlinburg.

Breakfast in the main building was excellent, and the location was very quiet. The room felt like a cozy little apartment with an old-world atmosphere, and everything else was just right. One small thing: late arrivals may be seated away from the main building. You also have to ask in the main building for fresh towels, so a little note in the bathroom would help.
