The stairs upstairs are dangerous, so anyone with mobility issues should avoid staying here. There’s no reception or office, and at breakfast I couldn’t get hold of the lady to ask for juice. Some places had horrible condensed milk instead of fresh milk. The rooms are okay, but the towels are nearly threadbare.

The old house has charm, though it clearly needs a thorough renovation. We found the room and bathroom very dirty, and would have liked them to be cleaner. The landlords were very friendly, courteous, and helpful, and breakfast was very good and generous. Even so, we probably won’t stay here again, so unfortunately we can’t recommend the guesthouse.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The Engelhardts are friendly and always happy to help with questions, and the secure parking area was a real plus. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of cheeses, cold cuts, jams, and freshly cooked eggs, and they’ll accommodate special requests. The rooms are clean and tidy, a bit dated but perfectly adequate. Thank you so much!

We spent the weekend in Quedlinburg for my husband’s 65th birthday, and thank you for the birthday 💐. The guesthouse is a short distance from the old town and well located. The landlady was very friendly and attentive, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast had something for everyone, and we could choose the time. The furnishings are rustic and keep the town’s charm.
