Christian had a great breakfast ready from what we'd ordered the evening before, and he really wanted to make our stay as good as possible. He was a fabulous host, and the house is nicely placed within the wall, in an accessible location. The room was basic and unfussy, and the beds were comfortable. Thanks, Christian, for making our time in Rothenburg comfortable and memorable. We hope to see you in the States someday when you take that vacation. Until then, be blessed.

We came in a quiet winter month, with few tourists around, and wished we’d stayed longer to see more of the medieval town. The place was cosy and really nice to stay in. The young owner and the cleaning lady were both friendly and courteous, and Herr Christian gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit.

Set in a traditional building, the hotel served a nice breakfast. The rooms felt a little dated, but the service man was very helpful and did a lot for us.

The location is perfect, and our room was clean and quiet. Christian, the owner, is very friendly and makes time to chat with guests. Breakfast was very good too. You preorder what you want, which helps avoid food waste, and you can always ask for more. I highly recommend this place.

The room had a cute view, and booking at the last minute in the middle of summer was no problem. I was here with my grandma and sister. Christian, the owner, was kind and accommodating, and the cleaning lady was friendly too. He was the only staff member besides her. There was no A/C, which was the only downside, though that's common in Europe. It's very close to the Markplatz.
