Pension Elke Rothenburg

Our breakfast had everything we needed, with great bread and different kinds of fruit. The cozy breakfast room puts you in the mood for the day. The rooms and bathroom were clean and fresh, and the location is perfect. Our owner seemed like the hardest-working man in Rothenburg. A local gem, if you ask me.

Klaus checked us in at the shop downstairs, which is run by the same people, and kept making sure we were comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent spot and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast exceeded what we expected, with lots of fresh fruit, meat, cheese, boiled eggs, bread, and more. We were impressed with the service and highly recommend staying here.

I was traveling solo and really liked it here. My room was quiet and clean, and breakfast is well worth getting. There's a grocery store downstairs owned by the same people, too. Nothing bad to say about the place.

The family runs the place and also owns the shop below, where we picked up some tasty local produce. It's quiet and right inside Rothenburg's walls, so getting around the old city on foot is easy. Breakfast had a very good selection of cheeses, meats, fruit, breads, and cereal. For a pension, it was ideal. The room was clean, with fresh-smelling sheets, in a historic building. There's no elevator, but we didn't have too many floors to carry our luggage. Everyone was very friendly.
