Campingpark Heidewald

The pitches were spacious and flat, with plenty of shade, and the toilets and showers were clean and plentiful. We stayed three nights in August with our caravan. The website showed no availability, but we called anyway and were glad they could fit us in. We arrived before the 3pm check-in time and were shown to our pitch even though reception was closed. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful throughout. There’s laundry on site, plus bike hire at a reasonable price. We didn’t get to try the Italian restaurant, though its prices seemed reasonable. The local cycling paths are pleasant, and there’s a lake about a kilometre away with a lovely beach, clean water, and a nice bar and restaurant. We’ll definitely come back when we’re passing through.

Our 5 y.o. son loved the playground, which was a highlight of our relaxing stay. Campingpark Heidewald is neatly laid out, spotless, and well maintained, with clean restrooms and easy-to-reach water points. The staff were super friendly, and the Italian restaurant served delicious dishes. It was a stress-free place to spend time outdoors.

I spent two days here and felt very comfortable and happy. The place was clean, and I appreciated how friendly the staff were and how readily they helped me. I’ll definitely visit again.

We rolled in with our bikes near the end of the day and still found room. It’s a big, busy campsite, with a separate tent field at the back. The bathrooms were clean, though there weren’t many facilities.
