We felt right at home thanks to the friendly, helpful couple who run the place. And the location is wonderful, in the most picturesque village in this part of Germany. Thank you!

The food was fantastic, fresh, and delicious. The menu is small but has something for everyone, with four beers on tap and other tasty drinks. The owner’s house schnapps, offered to us, was lovely too. Breakfast was thoughtfully put together, with a good, solid selection. The hosts are friendly, relaxed, and accommodating. I could even arrange another night that same morning and stay on. The room was well kept and furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. This old half-timbered house has loads of charm and everything you need. If I need somewhere to stay in Schwalenberg again, I won’t look elsewhere.

They were fully booked, but still did everything they could to find us a room, without making any money from it. Such kind, welcoming people who really try to help however they can. Thank you so much.

That little beer garden, Berggarten, is absolutely stunning, and you really shouldn’t miss it. A lovely place with quality, warmth, and friendliness all together. THANK YOU!
