For our cycling trip, this was a fine place to stay, and considerably cheaper than other options nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the basic rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was good value. Most of the other guests seemed to be there on motorbikes or bikes. If we’d stayed longer or wanted to spend more time at the hotel, though, I think we might have found it a bit disappointing.

A good choice for a weekend or long weekend away with couples or families. The family room has cooking facilities, a balcony, and a special drop-down wardrobe bed for the girls. It’s dog friendly, and there’s a room with games and toys for children. The small play area for children can be seen from the main building. The family running the place are very nice and humble. The restaurant serves Asian and European food of decent quality at reasonable prices.

The balcony had an amazing view, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. It wasn’t expensive either. Recommended!

The place could really use a refurbishment. We were also disappointed to find there was no restaurant, even though the website shows one. The lady was helpful, but the website needs to be updated to make clear that there isn’t a restaurant on site.
