Gästehaus Olympia

The WiFi was very good, unlike at many other hotels where I often have problems. I also liked getting a daily message from the landlord to check that everything was okay. There’s no reception, but that wasn’t an issue. I stayed January 7-10, 2024, and found the rooms nice and very well maintained, with everything very clean. Entry to both the building and room is by PIN. It was new to me, but worked great. There’s a shared room with a kitchen, dishes, microwave and coffee maker, plus refrigerators and a communal balcony. You can cook for yourself, and there’s a washing machine you can use free of charge. Parking is right outside, with enough spaces available. I’ll be back.

Getting the key details by email only shortly before arrival was a downside, and that deserves a star off. They should have told us earlier. The sign is also small and not easy to spot, which made the place harder to find. Still, it was very clean, well equipped, good value, and ideal if you want complete independence. Otherwise, truly excellent.

The service was friendly, and the food was incredibly delicious 👍👍👍 Meat and fish do tend to come out overcooked, though. If they worked on that, it'd definitely be five stars ⭐

The shared kitchen and dining area was excellent, with several refrigerators and plenty of dishes. Everything was clean and modernly furnished, and it had all we needed. I'd definitely stay here again.
