Hotel Garni am Olgaeck

The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the location is quite nice, about a ten-minute walk from the city center. The rooms are incredibly small, but that's part of the bed-and-breakfast concept. Breakfast was really insufficient and could use more variety. The stairs are very steep, but there's another door next to the bakery downstairs. Ring the bell there and you'll find an elevator inside. I'm not sure it's the best choice in summer, since the area is very loud and sleeping with the windows open isn't really possible.

The location worked really well, with public transport right across the street. My room was clean and pleasant, and the bathroom had plenty of space. The receptionist was especially warm and helpful, even taking extra time to share tips for getting around locally.

The central location and good price were both a plus, but the kind hotel staff really stood out.

The staff were polite and charming, and the central spot was easy to reach with good transport links. Check-in and checkout were straightforward, and it wasn't expensive, so you get what you pay for. My single room with a private bathroom was fine for one night, though it was small and basic, with few power outlets and no closet. I'd limit a stay here to 1-3 days. There's no lift, and even reception is upstairs, so it wouldn't suit someone with reduced mobility. The place looked clean at first glance, but there were stains here and there and I never felt the surroundings were especially clean. You can hear everything outside the room because there's no sound insulation. It's practical enough for a short visit.
