Traumwohnung Stuttgart

A beautiful, clean place, close to the old town.

I stayed from November 3rd to November 30th, and would definitely book here again if I need a longer stay in Stuttgart. The apartment is well-equipped for cooking, and there’s a washing machine and dryer in the basement, plus an iron. Its location is perfect: the city center is very quick to reach, Breuninger is less than 10 minutes away, and Königsstraße is easy to get to as well. Highly recommend it. If I could give more than 5 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate!

Nightmare apartment would be a better name. The price is completely exorbitant, and we’ll never stay again. The towels and bed linen were old and musty. Beds creaked, doors and windows stuck, some blinds were broken, and all the seating was uncomfortable. The kitchen was poorly equipped: no egg cups, just one wine glass, some plastic cups, no dish rack, a warped countertop and a used sponge. We had to wash the dishes ourselves, and the bathtub drain was clogged. For a week, there were only two rolls of toilet paper and no cleaning supplies. The cleaning staff member couldn’t be reached until one day before we left.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the price was average. The apartment’s location is very good, so in those ways it was a good stay. But I’m not 100% satisfied because the pictures don’t quite show what you get. We booked through Booking.com after looking at the first 10 or so pictures, and I thought we’d booked the large apartment. We hadn’t. The one we got was much smaller and had no balcony, which mattered to me as a smoker. A few photos of this apartment were tucked at the end of the Booking.com listing, which I think is done intentionally and is very misleading. You have to pay close attention.
