M-A-S-Hotel

For this price, I can’t understand the complaints in other reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was wonderfully quiet despite being right in the heart of Vaihingen. The rooms are practical and modern, the mattresses were kind to my back, and cleanliness was perfect. Nearby, the Vaihingen inn serves solid burgers with a good variety, and it’s definitely worth a visit. This is about as good as you can expect at this price.

Public transport is frequent and easy to reach from here, though there isn’t much else nearby. My room was noisy, both from the hallway and the next room. In the morning, the smell of scrambled eggs came up from what seemed to be a bakery kitchen directly below, and there was a cigarette smell in the building that gave it a pub-like atmosphere. The room only got indirect daylight because a flat roof sat right outside, and the neighbor opposite could look straight in if the blinds were open. The mattress was worn, the shower water took a while to warm up, and the bathroom bin was still full from the previous guest.

Clean, attentive, and friendly. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

Parking is available, and my room was clean with a very comfortable mattress. The hotel owner was especially friendly.
