We had forgotten our EU plugs and toothbrushes, and after bus cancellations elsewhere we arrived completely overwhelmed and underprepared. The lady at reception helped us with everything we needed and even arranged a taxi at the last minute. My husband and I were in Trier for a good friend’s wedding in April. We booked a room without breakfast, and it was clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed for the night. The staff were absolutely exceptional. I’d happily stay here again on another visit to Trier.

I booked a comfort room for my family, and I don’t understand who decided it was suitable for us. They asked the children’s age when I booked, so they knew our child was 1 year old. There was no cooling option except opening the windows, but the room was 30 degrees. With the windows open, we had traffic noise and exhaust fumes from cars passing right below. Extremely disappointing.

The staff were really kind, and the clean, spacious rooms made a good impression. Breakfast was good too. When I asked for toast, they even went out to buy some specially for me. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend the place.

Our family room had a balcony, and breakfast was more than perfect. The host was very friendly, and the hotel is right in the center of Trier, a 10-minute walk from the black "port". There’s enclosed private parking for 10 euro a night. No complaints, the five stars are well earned.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, the service was good, and our family room on the fourth floor was nicely decorated and comfortable. One thing to plan ahead for: the car park is small, so reserve a spot. The lift only reaches the second floor. The family rooms are up in the eaves and have skylights that open freely, with no restrictions.
