There were cockroaches in the bathroom of my first room, though the second room seemed fine. The service was okay, but I hadn’t realized reception is unstaffed before 1pm and after 9pm.

We were very happy with our stay and would come back. The attached restaurant was amazing. We ate there four times during our three nights. The rooms were stylish and spacious enough for our family of four, with blackout curtains and good AC. Breakfast was excellent, though there wasn’t a huge range of options. My only complaint was that there was no bar fridge in the room. It’s a great hotel for a short stay in Ulm.

The room was simple but everything worked well, with nice beds and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and the hotel is in a perfect location. A couple of things could be improved: clearer street signs in the Apothekergasse, and the ground-floor restaurant staff should stop using the hotel entrance as a smoking lounge. It smells and makes the entrance unwelcoming.
