The bar wasn’t open, which was a shame. The place feels old-fashioned, and I would’ve appreciated a bit more hospitality from the staff.

The room was clean and roomy, though the bed felt a little too firm for me. That’s personal preference, of course. Breakfast was plentiful and hit the spot, and the staff were really nice and friendly. We arrived late, but check-in was super easy. We could grab something to eat at the snack bar next door 🫡💪 Thanks for everything 💖💫

They even came to pick us up from the car dealership at night, which was fantastic. The place is in the Waldsiedlung (forest settlement) and still has a little GDR charm. Breakfast was quiet, with just me there that day. The staff were incredibly friendly and keen to help. My one small gripe is that more could be done for people who have trouble walking.

It’s pretty remote, and the rooms are very basic. The bathroom is cramped, with a shower curtain around a roughly 1-square-meter shower. At 185 cm tall, I practically had to kneel to use the bathroom mirror to do my hair. Service was lacking too, since the counter wasn’t staffed all the time. The breakfast buffet could get a bit tight, and I would’ve liked someone to clear tables now and then or be available for questions. Group dinners need to be booked ahead, or they won’t have enough food or staff. It served its purpose. This is a simple hotel in a remote location, so I wouldn’t take this rating too seriously.
