This is my favourite hotel in Waren. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, and the place feels surrounded by water. At night you can hear wildlife. You're close to the center of Waren, but it still feels like being out in the countryside. The staff are lovely and helpful, and there are plenty of them around. It feels like being part of a community. The guests do tend to be older, so don't expect a young, 'cool' crowd, but that doesn't take away from how beautiful the place is.

The breakfast was superb, served on the deck overlooking the gardens, and the service in English was excellent. It's about 2 km from downtown Waren, with incredible views. Take a walk around the gardens on site and along the lake. It can be a little hard to find, but I would come back for a longer stay.

The room was small but had what I needed. The garden by the water is nice to wander through, and the breakfast spread was excellent. It's a short bike ride or a reasonable walk into town. I'd stay again.

The room was tidy but cold. Breakfast, included in the price, was a very nice buffet, and there was an exhibition of cacti and other plants in the hotel grounds. It's centrally located, and parking is available, though you have to pay for it.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The area was quiet, with a nice view and good beds. There's a locked garage available, check-in can be arranged late, and breakfast was excellent.
