The old-fashioned look gives the place a lot of charm, and having the cosy restaurant downstairs was really handy. We found the room quiet and clean, with a very spacious bathroom, and breakfast felt fair for the price. The staff were lovely and attentive, and there’s free parking too. A couple of little things: the bathroom fan was loud at night, and one side of the bed creaked. There’s no elevator, though the staff were very willing to help with bags. If we're back near the three country border, we’d definitely stay at Adler again.

The restaurant food was very nice, though the service there could be better. The place was clean and felt safe, with food and a supermarket close by. Getting into town by public transport was possible, and we walked to the three point bridge in about 40 minutes at a brisk pace. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows weren’t. There’s no fridge in the room, and the air conditioner wasn’t connected. Staff were okay, not especially friendly. The church bells ring all day and night, so light sleepers may not get much rest.

The food was amazing, and the rooms were comfortable. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. I’d happily stay here again if I came back to Germany.

We wanted something that felt traditionally German, and this place delivered that. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were clean with nice linens, though the shower grout had mold on it. It’s at the edge of town, which works well if you’re driving or using public transport, but restaurants are a bit of a walk away. Staff were pleasant, though not easy to find. We faced street #35; traffic noise wasn’t too bad, but the church bells rang loudly every hour, around the clock. Not a good fit for light sleepers.
