ACHAT Premium City-Wiesbaden

The rooms were clean and tidy, and being right in the city center was a real plus. This is an older hotel, so there’s no air conditioning, which could make the room hot when it’s warm outside. The reception was friendly, and parking was easy in the garage on the next road by the park house. I paid about 15 euros for the night. A solid stay.

The room was the main problem. It was cramped, with dated lights, a tiny bathroom, visible mold on the ceiling, and a shower door that was hard to open and keep shut. The bathroom’s sliding door didn’t close properly, and its opaque wall offered little privacy. There was also a ledge between the bathroom and bedroom that could be difficult for disabled guests. The soap dispenser was broken, the bed felt like pure springs, and thin walls let every hallway sound through. The lift opens onto a corridor with flickering lights that feels eerie. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, though we had no other contact with staff, so we can’t really judge the service. The downtown Wiesbaden location is convenient and the price is cheap. If you just need somewhere inexpensive and don’t mind a no-frills stay, there are worse options. If the room matters to you, choose somewhere else.

I liked the location, breakfast, and affordable price, but the bedrooms were cold and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out. Even with a double bed, there were single duvets, and the room had no kettle or tea and coffee facilities. I wouldn’t stay again.

The staff were friendly and the location was very convenient, but the place felt dated and wasn’t very clean. Breakfast was average. It was okay, though I wouldn’t return.
