Acron Hotel

For the price, this was unbelievable value. The rooms are simple but usable, with the basics like WiFi, free parking, a sink, and a shower. It's only a few minutes' walk along good sidewalks to the old town. And that pillow was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Seriously.

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast had a nice range of options with really good coffee. The hotel is well placed and has parking. Rooms are roomy, though they could've been cleaner. If noise bothers you, ask not to face the railway.

Breakfast was pretty limited, especially for vegetarians: a couple of cheeses, meat, boiled eggs, and yogurt with flakes. We had a twin room, but it was tiny. Facing the road meant hearing cars and trains, and I kept waking up during the night. I'd say this is for a night or two if you need to be near the station.

At 10:20 on Friday night, my family of five arrived to find the whole hotel locked up. We called and sent messages through booking.com more than once, but got no reply. The sign said the lobby closed at 11, and we were tired with no way to reach anyone. It took about an hour before we finally got inside. Then there was no internet in our rooms at all, which we needed to plan the next day. I went to reception at 7 the next morning and explained what had happened. The receptionist apologized and said breakfast would be free. When we sat down, she told us it wouldn't be free after all. Incredible. This was my worst hotel experience ever. Terrible place, don't stay here.
