The WiFi was unreliable, so I couldn’t keep a video conference going. Maybe there was an issue during my stay. You can hear trains moving nearby, but it isn’t too loud and it’s quiet most of the time. The room was big, and everything gave me the impression it was brand new. In the morning, if you want coffee, you have to buy the full breakfast even if you only want a cup. That was because of the pandemic, and the way they handled it to keep customers safe made me feel safer there.

The service and hospitality were awful, and the hotel itself was below average. We arrived at 9 PM after heavy rain and traffic, and I’d messaged the owner to say we were running late, following the instruction we’d been given. But the owner said we’d arrived after hours. Even after I explained and reminded him about the message, he kept repeating that we were very late and that it wasn’t acceptable, almost as if he were scolding children. The hotel doesn’t seem to check guest messages. Avoid it.

I came with my son two years ago, during Oktoberfest. The place was clean and tidy, but the beds were quite uncomfortable. For the service we got, it felt way overpriced.
