Rosenborg Hotel Apartments

A really convenient spot, close to lots of attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Our apartment was spacious and clean, with useful amenities, including a washer and dryer shared with the other apartments. There’s also a convenience store on the corner. It worked very well for our family of four, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for clothes and luggage.

The location is good, the place is reasonably well furnished, and the free laundry is handy. But I would not recommend staying here because the whole building was woken at 7 am every day by the trash collection, during the stated quiet hours. The cleaning team made three or four trips across the cobblestone courtyard each morning, pushing a very large trash cart back and forth. With the cart, the cobbles, and the way the courtyard echoes, it sounded like a huge freight train going through the building. The noise lasted about ten minutes each morning and woke my whole family, including the young children. None of us got a good night's sleep during the stay. We messaged building management, but they said they couldn’t make any changes, even though there seem to be several ways to improve the situation. Good luck getting any sleep here.

We’d happily stay here again. The apartment was quiet, very functional for our family with a toddler, and we had a two-bedroom unit at the back of the building with an elevator. The city center was easy to explore on foot, and metro and train access was simple too. Hotel staff communicated really well and even helped us connect with a nanny service.

We had to carry our luggage up two flights because there was no elevator to our apartment. Also, the nearby church bell rings very loudly for five minutes at 8 am each morning. Apart from those two things, the apartment was clean, spacious, and in a great spot, within walking distance of everything.
