Sanders King - Smart 4-bdr Apt in City Center

Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and the housekeeping team was prompt and thorough. The front desk staff were warm, pleasant, and professional, and breakfast was wonderful. We wondered whether the high price would really feel worth it, but our five-night stay at Hotel D'Angleterre exceeded what we expected. We loved it.

We went to Copenhagen for our wedding trip, and staying at Hotel d’Angleterre made the visit feel special. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with the kind of careful finish you'd expect from one of the city's iconic hotels. The building has a lovely sense of history and elegance, and it's kept to a very high standard. Marchal was a highlight: the food, presentation, and service were all outstanding, and it was one of the best meals we had on the trip. We also spent time in the spa, which was beautifully designed, peaceful, and a great place to unwind after exploring. The service felt genuine from the moment we arrived. Everyone was welcoming, warm, and professional without making interactions feel scripted. The hotel is right in the centre at Kongens Nytorv, so we could easily walk to the main sights, Nyhavn, and plenty of restaurants and bars. For a wedding or another special occasion, the location and the stay were just right. It made our time in Copenhagen unforgettable.

The staff made this stay feel like a comforting place to return to, always gentle and kind whenever I came and went. I had been struggling with illness, so this hotel choice meant a lot to me. The beautiful view was part of why I chose it, especially the Jet d’Eau fountain on Lake Geneva, but when I arrived it was closed for its annual maintenance and I felt disappointed. Rudy, one of the staff, surprised me by printing a photo he had taken of the fountain, framing it, and putting it in my room so I wouldn't feel so sad about missing the real thing. It touched me deeply. The manager also came out to greet and say goodbye to my husband and me as we were leaving, one of the kindest managers I've met. The Arab gentleman at the entrance was always smiling, cheerful, and polite. Two other staff whose names I unfortunately don't know would hurry to open the elevator and press my floor whenever I came in. From housekeeping and the restaurant staff to the manager, everyone provided service beyond excellent. Not once did they disappoint me.

With all the flight cancellations to Amsterdam, staying here turned out to be the best decision. The staff, service, and wellness were top notch, and I got to relax and enjoy the city fully. Thanks for everything.
