The only real plus was the location, close enough to Zona colonial. The room itself was noisy, especially with a loud water pump right by the door. It didn’t seem properly cleaned either: there was hair in the bathroom, and the host walked in wearing dirty shoes. The bathroom has no shower separation, so everything gets wet. The lamp only partly worked, the extra chairs shown in the old photos were missing, and there was another messy mattress on the floor instead. The pictures really didn’t match the room.

The price is reasonable, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. The neighbors are really loud, and with no ventilation in the bathrooms, it seems like a good place for cockroaches.

Good location for the price. The bed wasn’t comfortable, but you get what you pay for. We were woken up at 6 in the morning by other guests talking loudly and hauling their luggage through the shared hallway. The host should set quiet hours.

The location was excellent, and service was good. The rooms are small and not in the best shape. The guy there didn’t speak any English at all.

It’s one of Santo Domingo’s more affordable places to stay, and it’s close to Zona Colonial. Most attractions are about 15-20 minutes away. There’s also a very cute dog among the hotel staff. Just be aware they don’t accept card payments, so you have to use cash or PayPal.
