The restaurant had breathtaking views of the cathedral, and the location put everything within easy reach right in the heart of the city. Every staff member, from security to reception, made us feel special and seemed to love their work. They went out of their way to make our stay incredible. A highlight was surprising my wife with a live mariachi performance at the hotel. They welcomed the idea, and soon the whole street was dancing and singing along. We'll remember that for a long time. This was the best hotel experience of our lives. I'd give it more than five stars if I could. For world-class service, wonderful views, and an unforgettable stay, don't hesitate to book.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the decor is a highlight, the location is pristine, and the food and drinks are great. Everyone was welcoming and respectful, and everything was presented and served well. I do recommend the stay. There were a few sleep issues. The hotel sits between an Italian restaurant and a rooftop venue that operates until 1am as part of the business model, so the rooms can be loud if you're trying to sleep before then. It didn't seem like the hotel could do much without upsetting the restaurant and rooftop customers, so it felt like a client-versus-client conflict. I used white noise to cover the music, and that worked. The windows are soundproof, but can only do so much. Light came through the room doors, but after I mentioned it, staff covered the gaps with black paper. It wasn't pretty, but it worked and let us sleep in proper darkness. The cleaning staff would come in without warning if we hadn't put the do not disturb notice on the door. I spoke with people who stayed at other places and heard of similar issues, so maybe these are cultural things.

There were seven of us and we were the only people in the restaurant, yet we had to keep calling the waiter, Frederick, over to serve us. He forgot drinks and got them wrong. The service wasn't worth what we paid.

Such a beautiful place, with an ideal location, wonderful staff, and great food and drinks. I'll definitely be back soon.

We spent about a week in a fabulous, very contemporary suite at this intimate boutique hotel in El Centro, right across from Parque Calderón. It made a great base for exploring Cuenca on foot, and the location was excellent. The suite was incredible, and the hotel has other suites too, plus an awesome restaurant. What puts the place beyond the norm is the staff. Everyone was so attentive, respectful, kind, and helpful, from the concierges to the restaurant team and housekeeping. They really care that you're happy and satisfied, and respond quickly when you need help. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast staff on the outdoor roof patio and the dinner staff in the modern dining area were both excellent. The food was carefully prepared and presented, and tasted great. An impressive little hotel and suites. We're sure it will do very well in the future.
