For the quality of service, it's very expensive. The garage is also a little way from the hotel.

The second day, they sent us away because breakfast wasn't ready until 8 a.m. During our 3 weeks traveling Ecuador, this was by far the most expensive double room we booked, about 100€ /night for 3 nights. The room was small and had no outside window. Our bedsheet was dirty, with hairs on it, and we had to ask at reception multiple times every day to get towels. Breakfast was very basic and chaotic, and the staff seemed overwhelmed whenever more than 2 persons arrived at once. A disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The people at San Rocke House in Cuenca were very nice and accommodating, and the service was excellent. Its location was perfect, close to downtown and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable, with nicely sized bathrooms. I'd definitely go back and recommend it to others. In my opinion, 5 stars.

For the price, this was incredibly good value. The hotel sits right by the historic center, and the old building has been renovated beautifully. Rooms open onto a central courtyard, breakfast was great, and the service was lovely.
