The pool is small, and the hostal felt comfortable and secure. It's mid-range and close to the airport, but the busy main road gets noisy in the morning. My room was a bit dark and claustrophobic, with its only window facing a neighboring wall. Breakfast was basic but okay, and the staff were reasonably friendly. They also charged me an extra fee for paying by card. I might have been better off paying a little more for a nicer hotel or less for somewhere around the same standard.

I keep coming back to this place in Guayaquil, and Sumi, the administrator, and Alberto, the owner, are both so friendly. The renovated rooms are much more elegant now, and the pool area is the biggest surprise, it is VERY AMAZING. I had a great time there with my friends and will be back next year to visit them ASAP.

It's a fine hostal near the airport. Mall de Sol is also nearby, about a 600 meter walk, and has a big food court.
